2History
Since our doors first opened in 1993, the CENTA Group has grown into a major contributor to the fire industry.
In 2001, the first CENTA Group Agreement was signed and our members moved away from being distributors to having a vested interest in their business. By 2003 the company had gained international recognition and become one of the largest manufacturers and suppliers of fire protection equipment in Africa.
2006 saw Group Members being invited to join the CENTA Group as official shareholders; this secured the brand and assured the organisation of a sustainable future. To achieve ongoing growth, we plan to fully exploit our capabilities to ensure CENTA products and services continually meet industry standards and more.
